Obtaining a Driving Licence C+E
The most comprehensive HGV license is the C+E. It allows you to drive a lorry that has an unloader or semi-trailer that weighs more than 750 kilograms.
The instruction for Category CE is a natural progression from the course leading to Category C. It involves driving on roads with different traffic densities as well as on training tracks.
Requirements
A driving licence is a valid document that shows that a driver has met the legal requirements to drive. The requirements for driving vary from country to country, but most include passing the test and not having a history of traffic violations. The tests are typically divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. However, there are exceptions. The first step to obtaining a license is to complete the driving course and pass the theory test. The driver must be physically fit to drive, and certain countries require proof of this, which includes an examination for medical reasons.
The next step is obtaining the Category C licence, or Car driver's licence. This allows you drive trailers, passenger vehicles and trucks with a maximum weight of 7.5 tons. If you already have a Cat C licence, you can upgrade to a Category C + E license, which permits you to drive articulated heavy-goods vehicles up to 44 tonnes.
You must be at least 21 years old to be eligible for a Category C license. This is the minimum age requirement, but you might be able obtain one sooner if you have completed the required training for your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) or are currently going through it. You must also possess a full car driver's licence in order to be eligible for a category C+E license.
The C+E category is the highest available hgv licence. The C+E license combines the categories of C and E and is the most comprehensive HGV licence available. You must have a Category C license to qualify for a C+E license. You must also pass a driving test as well as medical examination.
In addition to passing the practical and theory driving tests, you must have a medical checkup and eye exam. The medical examiner will look for signs of diabetes and heart disease and other conditions. You must be in good health to drive a car and not have an addiction history. Training

They will instruct you to drive rigid or articulated heavy goods vehicles that weigh up 32 tonnes. The training consists of classroom instruction and driving tests. The driving test usually lasts about 1.5 hours and requires you to follow the pre-determined route. The examiner will notify you of any instructions or diversions.
After completing the training after which a person is issued an learner's license (LL) which is valid for six months. The LL allows people to drive on public roads so long they have a licensed driver with them. Driving without a qualified instructor is a crime.
Upon completion of the training after which the student will receive a certificate from an approved driving school. This certificate should be presented to the Vehicle Inspection Officer when applying for a copyright. The VIO will conduct a test for drivers to determine if the applicant is prepared to operate in a category C+E car.
The VIO will issue a permanent license once the driving test has been successfully completed. A group comprised of Subject Experts, or SME's, is formed to review the job analysis and create the exam questions. The SMEs are well-versed in the techniques for writing questions and are well-versed with the knowledge, skills and capabilities required to complete the job effectively.
The oral and written examinations are designed to be as authentic as possible. However, there are some circumstances that could lead an examiner to refuse your license. This could be the case the case that you were driving in a manner that was unsafe during the test or were involved in a crash; or if you violated any traffic rules, laws or regulations or in the event that your vehicle was unsafe. You will be required to take the test again and pay additional fees if you broke any traffic laws or rules.
Medical examination
To be qualified to operate a lorry within the EU one must pass an examination medically. A doctor will assess the eyesight of the driver and his general health. A driver who has a medical certificate is issued a driving licence C+E which is valid for five years. After that, the license will be renewed annually.

You also have to follow a particular route, which will be given by the examiner.
Some commenters have questioned the use of the phrase "not-certified." The final rule employs the term "not-certified" to keep clear of any impression that the CDL holder is not qualified medically. This term also makes clear that the driver is not being denied driving privileges as a result of any adverse decision taken by FMCSA. The final rule also requires the State-designated licensing authority (SDLA) to post the medical certification status on the CDL holder's CDLIS driver record. This will prevent false and misleading claims that the driver is medically certified when, in fact, the driver isn't. The SDLA will be required to include the contact details of the ME who performed the medical examination on the driver's record, to further deter fraud. This requirement will remain in place until FMCSA adopts new rules to tackle this issue. In the meantime, motor companies can continue to maintain the original or a copy the medical examiner's report in their driver qualification records to prove that the driver is medically certified provided that the driver can prove the receipt date of the certificate from the ME.
